As a Night Shift Die Setter, you will work in conjunction with the other shift teams to ensure smooth transitions between production runs.
Your daily duties will include installing and removing moulds, preparing the work area for production, performing production start-ups and shutdowns, and addressing quality issues raised by the QC team.
Key Responsibilities Complete Die changeovers (various sizes)Die insert changesStart up and shutdown of machinesTroubleshootingWork closely with Quality Control to address any issues in qualityOperate ForkliftComplete job sheets, tool maintenance requests, machine maintenance requests, and other documents as requiredPerform mould/material trials when requiredMaintain a high standard of housekeeping and tidinessEssential Criteria Certificate in Polymer Technology (Injection Moulding)Forklift licence (LF)Can perform Die changes, setting machines, entering programs, minor corrections to programs, start-up and shut-down operationsThe ability to carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshootingPhysically fit to stand and lift (25kg)Strong literacy and numeracy skillsAbility to work effectively in a teamComputer literacy for completion of documentationUnrestricted working rights in AustraliaDriver licenceLocation: Moorebank NSW 2170
Shift: Night Shift 10:30pm – 6:30am Monday to Friday
Rate: $36.00 – $38.00 p/h +$30% night shift loading
