The Opportunity We are on the lookout for a motivated Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in our Brisbane Office
You will have the opportunity to work both in the design office and on site dedicated to a project making real contributions.
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Lead Mechanical Engineer with a desire to increase their technical knowledge and develop their long term career with GRES.
Your typical day will consist of: Ensuring all mechanical engineering work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practicesEnsuring Project conformity with regards to safety, environmental and quality issuesPrepare and review preliminary and detailed designs for Mechanical engineering project work and ensure compliance with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of workLead/manage the designated design engineering and drafting team to achieve project goals within time and budget constraintsPreparing documentation standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitoring regimes in respect of work on or around engineering projectsTechnical review of tender documentation for projects so that project objectives (schedule and performance) are achievedPreparing maintenance planning data for all project fixed plant and infrastructure items covered by the project design scopeWhat we are looking for: Relevant engineering qualifications and minimum 10 years professional experience in Mechanical engineeringDemonstrated knowledge in the mineral processing and materials handling fieldsKnowledge of current engineering design and standardsAbility to execute the design process in conjunction with all relevant disciplines and ensure design coordination of any multi-disciplined activitiesBe proficient with relevant engineering software used within the organisation, particularly excel, word and computer aided drafting tools.Ability to handle priorities and tasks with accuracy and excellent attention to detailDemonstrate high level communication and problem solving skillsFull & unrestricted Australian working rightsWhat's on offer?
