As a Engineer at swipejobs, You will be responsible for managing technology across the full stack on our production system, including Infrastructure and security (AWS Cloud), code review and analysis, automation and optimisation support, driving and setting up our CI/CD environment, and maintaining the mission-critical cloud platform.Responsibilities:Ensure the production environments are stable, high performing and secureManage Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with a focus on securityEnsure the production environments are stable, high performing and secureSoftware/infrastructure automation engineering focusing on CI/CDInformation Security of all data, servers and processesScripting, coding and programming in: Python, BashBuild and development with Terraform, GoCD, Artifactory, Git and GradleDesign and develop secure AWS infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Icinga and AnsibleBuild and release pipelines with GoCDPromoting builds across multiple development, test, staging and production environmentsExperience:Minimum 3 years Australian market experience in an extremely fast-paced and extreme agile environmentExpert Cloud experience in Kubernetes AWS network and VPC setupStrong automation experience; Ansible, SaltstackCoding / scripting skills; Python, BashElasticSearch, Kibana, ELK stackExposure to managing installations of technologies like; Kafka, Apache Spark, MongoDBCI/CD pipeline; we use GoCDProduction experience with DockerKnowledge and experience with Kubernetes is desirableGood communication, organisational skills; including the ability to manage changing priorities and meeting deadlinesWhy swipejobs:A chance to work on a market leading US software productEnd to end exposure to the full software development life cycleWorking in a start up environment with modern offices located in North SydneyA flat organisational structure where everyone is always accessibleOperating in a fast paced and dynamic environment that provides exciting challenges dailyA chance to work on modern technology stack which is cutting edge even for the USFood provided throughout the day whilst working in the office including a free lunchRegular social events in and outside the officeIf you are talented, driven and interested in joining us in our journey; we would like to hear from you.
