Tell me about this role:We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Commercial & Contracts Consultants to join our team on a permanent basis.
We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.These roles will be Melbourne based and will play a critical part in delivering the latest in Land capability technology to our Defence Force.Some of the projects include armoured fighting vehicles, soldier modernisation program, lifecycle management of in-service fleet, deployable health infrastructure and more.This role offers uncapped training and development opportunities as well as other benefits including free parking, flexible working and different leave arrangements including paid parental, study, reserve and volunteer leave.What will I be doing day to day? Develop relevant procurement and commercial documentation and contract administrationPrepare contract artefacts for new, renewal or extensionsReview existing contracts for fitness-for-purpose and propose changes offering better commercial outcomesDevelop a commercial roadmap & procurement strategyLiaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisations.Provide advice and assistance related to commercial mattersWhat sort of skills do I need?Experience within the Defence industry in a commercial or procurement roleExperience working on ASDEFCON contractsStrong communication skillsProcess oriented with good attention to detailMinimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)What's in it for me?Flexibility - We like our employees to have the flexibility they need to live the lives they choose.
