Cyber Security | Principal Consultant We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Application Security Engineer.

Full Job Description
The role involves providing expert advice and guidance on effective application security practices to safeguard our customers.
This position requires taking the lead in implementing practical and effective security solutions and processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for software security, staying informed about the latest challenges and trends, and offering insights on how to address them effectively.

Your day to day:
Lead the application security strategy, guiding technical development teams to a unified vision that empowers them to create and release secure products and services.
Deliver measurable improvements to our security posture, partnering with internal product/engineering teams and external security testing providers to embed application security and continuously enhance our maturity throughout development and delivery stages.
Plan and implement a bug bounty program.
Develop systems and workflows to integrate more automated security decision-making within the software development lifecycle.
Create proof-of-concept demonstrations where applicable to reproduce issues, mitigations, or security demonstrations with a single click.
We're looking for someone who has a:
Strong understanding of secure software engineering fundamentals.
Knowledge of technologies and security considerations in digital, mobile/web development, and enterprise environments.
Proficiency in secure application design and threat modeling.
Experience in writing production-level code is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies and DevOps/Agile methodologies.
Awareness of emerging security trends and countermeasures.
Strong knowledge of industry standards such as OWASP, PCI-DSS, ISO27001, and NIST.
6+ years of experience in product development, software engineering, application security, or related fields.
Nice to have skills:
Familiarity with AWS, DevSecOps practices, tools like Snyk, Github/Github Actions, Trufflehog, and Agile methodology.
