As a Change Manager at APRA, you will join a central change management team providing change management services and support for the portfolio of projects and initiatives across APRA.
The successful candidate will have experience in providing change management services and support to large and complex projects from planning through all execution phases to completion and transition to BAU.
Projects are varied and range from business projects with the financial services entities APRA regulates through to internal projects to improve capabilities within APRA.
The team
The Change Management team is part of the Project and Portfolio Management team in the Chief of Staff and Enterprises Services division which provides a range of services and support to the rest of APRA.
The Change team works closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts and the business to deliver value to the organisation.
Key responsibilitiesDevelop and execute the change management components of plans, including:Change impact assessment, working with the business to assess and validate change impacts and readinessChange strategy and approachCommunications planning and executionLearning planning and executionTransition to BAUIdentify change risks and mitigate theseAssess capability uplift required across the impacted teams and conduct learning needs analyses for impacted stakeholders, including the approach and roadmap for delivery of effective training materials/tools and encompassing logistics and deliveryWork with the internal communications teams to develop communications plans that align with APRA's overall strategic direction and broader APRA communications activitiesMonitor success to mitigate change impacts and support effective adoption and transition to BAU About youSubstantial experience leading delivery of end-to-end change management (with practical experience in planning and delivering change) on large programs of work, in a large complex environment, preferably in financial services regulatory projectsExperience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (Prosci, ADKAR, Agile) and practical application to enhance change management successDemonstrated facilitation skills and ability to lead large forums with complex stakeholder groupsThe ability to drive transformational organisational change and lead the process for embedding sustainable changePro-active with a positive 'can do' attitude and strong motivation to drive the delivery of high-quality change workHighly developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the business
