We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Carpenters with an RIW (Rail Industry Worker) or RISI (Rail Industry Safety Induction) ticket to join our dynamic team on a range of exciting railway projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to apply their carpentry skills in a high-profile industry with opportunities for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities: Perform carpentry work on railway construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Install, repair, and maintain wooden structures and components on railway infrastructure, such as platforms, signal posts, fencing, and bridges.
Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with the required specifications and safety standards.
Maintain a safe working environment and report any issues to supervisors promptly.
Collaborate with other trades and site teams to ensure project success.
Adhere to all railway safety protocols and industry best practices.
Requirements: Valid RIW or RISI Ticket (Rail Industry Worker or Rail Industry Safety Induction).
Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably with experience in railway or construction sectors.
Strong understanding of carpentry tools, techniques, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and quality of work.
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Full PPE and relevant safety certifications.
