Due to the continued growth of our business, we are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Supervisor/Assessor to join our Brisbane team.
Key Responsibilities Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenLiaising with our clients and vendorsResponding to internal and external queries within the required timeframesEnsuring files are of a high standard and compliant with the companyThe upkeep and entry of all relevant client information and communicationSkills in completing accurate variations and submissionsRequired to attend site inspections and oversee building repairsProficient in preparing scopes and estimatesAbout the Role As a bright and energetic self-starter, you will have the ability to work under minimal supervision.
You must have the ability to respond quickly and professionally to new and changing situations.
You will also have demonstrated skills in taking initiative, prioritising, and multi-tasking in a fast-moving environment.
Must have current driver's license.
Qualifications Highly developed verbal communication skillsProblem-solving and negotiation skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsA high level of motivation and ability to think outside of the squareOpen Builders License / Supervisors License (not mandatory but desirable)MUST have previous experience in the Building and Construction industry and a good knowledge of the current Australian building standards.Experience in general insurance work is desirablePlease note the successful candidate will be provided with a brand new vehicle or car allowance.
