The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Advisor/Manager to join our Business Services team.
We are looking for someone who is technically proficient, with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
You will be able to step up and demonstrate your strong accounting and supervisory abilities while engaging in responsibilities including:
Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies; Preparing and reviewing financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management and stakeholders; Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements; Providing taxation advice on various matters including business structures, succession and operational matters; Preparing and reviewing Income Tax Returns; Preparation of cash flow and financial models for various projects; Mentoring team members; and Providing clients with advisory services.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
Business/Commerce degree with Accounting Major; 6+ years experience in a similar role; Currently completing or CA/CPA qualified; Can commit to a minimum of 37.5hrs/week; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; and Commitment to continuing professional development.
