Chief Radiographer

A great leadership opportunity has become available for a Chief Radiographer to join our team at our brand new Rooty Hill practice set to open in early 2025.
You will be required to effectively lead and manage a great team of staff to ensure the consistent delivery of superior customer service to our patients.
It will be imperative for you to work closely with the Radiologist on duty and Operations Manager to ensure optimal patient flow at all times, appropriate resolution to any practice issues, and a good work environment for all staff.
What is on offer: Friendly, dynamic and enthusiastic teamCompetitive rate of payOngoing support for training and developmentEmployee Assistance ProgramFitness Passport ProgramKey responsibilities of this role include: Carrying out work tasks independentlyProvide high level of leadership and motivation to all staffMaintain open and consistent channels of communication between Radiologists, Clerical staff, Radiographers, Sonographers and ReferrersRegular liaison with the Radiologist and Office Manager for effective problem solving between work areas to ensure the delivery of high quality service and care to patientsPerform radiography examinations in accordance with business protocols and ethics to ensure service delivery standards are consistently metTo be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria: Proven experience in managing/or leading staff with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment of both technical and clerical staffBe experienced with current radiology best practices and workflows with an emphasis on delivering a highly effective and efficient serviceHigh level attention to detailFlexibility to attend manager meetings and training as required (these may be after hours)Strong problem solving abilitiesAbility to handle a high pressure environment, manage emotions and effectively work through difficult situations to achieve good outcomesProactively support business decisionsProactive in continuous improvement activities including own professional developmentProven reliability and strong work ethicStrong culture fit with the organisation and our Core ValuesThe hourly rate will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on skills and experience.
