Lyndhurst Primary School (LPS) is located in the Marriott Waters Estate in Lyndhurst.
The school opened for all levels, Prep-6, in 2011.
Currently there are 950 students in 2024.
Lyndhurst Primary School is part of a partnership agreement between the Victorian State Government and Axiom Education.
In essence, the Department of Education and Training lease the property from the private consortium over a 25-year lease period.

The Lyndhurst community is highly diverse, with approximately 60% of our students listing English as their second language.

The successful candidate will support the Principal in establishing a strong and positive culture.
Significant work may be required during the vacation break in January for successful induction.

Responsibilities
The role of classroom teacher may include but is not limited to:
Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area;
Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions;
Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
Who May Apply
Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach.
