You will be required to draw upon your previous experience in mine planning, design and scheduling.Key Responsibilities:Short and medium term mine designDaily to LOM planning and schedulingOperations and site-based technical supportTechnical analysis and assessmentReport and presentation writing as required for project deliverablesQualifications & Technical Experience:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering requiredSolid working knowledge and experience in open cut/open pitRecent operational engineering experience in drill & blast, truck and shovel, scheduling and planning will be highly regardedProficiency in the use of mine design and scheduling software, in particular Vulcan, Alastri, Deswik, Minescape, XPAC and XACT will be highly regardedPersonal Attributes:Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including management, technical professionals and operational personnelPrevious track record in building credibility amongst your peer network and positioning yourself as a trusted business advisorExcellent interpersonal, negotiation and technical report writing skillsStrong analytical abilityApply Now:If you are a technically savvy Engineer who likes to display innovation and problem solve for clients - this is your chance to join the team
