Cladding Creations specializes in innovative cladding solutions that enhance both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of buildings. We are committed to delivering high-quality designs that meet our clients' needs while adhering to industry standards.Position overview:The Architectural Draftsperson will be responsible for creating and revising architectural drawings and plans based on design specifications provided by architects and clients. This role requires a strong understanding of design processes and excellent proficiency with drafting software.The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of cladding projects, ensuring that all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD.Collaborate with architects and project managers to develop and refine project designs.Produce high-quality technical drawings including elevations, sections, layouts, and 3D models.Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards.Revise plans based on client feedback, architectural standards, and technical considerations.Perform quantity take-offs and basic cost estimates for design projects.Maintain organized records of all project documents and revisions.Coordinate with engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure consistency across all drawings.Stay updated with industry trends, drafting standards, and software advancements.Qualifications & Skills:Diploma or Degree in Architectural Drafting, Architectural Technology, or a related field.Proficiency in CAD software, especially AutoCAD and Revit. Familiarity with 3D modeling tools is an asset.Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of architectural and construction principles, methods, and materials.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.Ability to interpret architectural sketches, designs, and blueprints.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Where to from here?If you meet all these requirements, please submit both a cover letter and resume.Please note that we will only be considering workers who live within the Gold Coast and Brisbane region.
