Our client is an alternative asset manager looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join their team.
With over 5 billion AUM, they are a large player in the Australian Market.
The Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing investment portfolios, ensuring that assets are effectively managed.
This role involves evaluating, selecting, and monitoring investments across their commercial portfolio and alternative investments.
Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Management: Develop and implement investment strategies to achieve client's financial objectives.Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, economic data, and industry developments to inform investment decisions.Investment Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify investment opportunities, assess risks, and analyse asset performance.Client Communication: Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates on portfolio performance, market trends, and recommendations for adjustments.Risk Management: Assess and manage risks associated with various investment options, ensuring that strategies align with client's risk tolerance.Compliance: Ensure all investment strategies comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports on portfolio performance, asset allocation, and market conditions to clients.Role Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).Proven experience in asset management, investment analysis, or financial services.Strong understanding of financial markets, investment vehicles, and risk management techniques.Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
