What is a slot machine game you ask?
Well it's like an Xbox video game except people can win real money.
We're looking for a QA Engineer to join our North Ryde Studio and make sure our product quality continues to shine.
If you are a self-motivated person who enjoys the complexities of working in a multidiscipline creative environment and has slot game testing experience, then we love to meet you.
Responsibilities Examine and analyze the game testing requirement and identify the different test cases.Execute tests according to a test plan, perform functional testing and regression testing.Work closely with game developers in debugging and reproducing difficult edge cases and field issues.Demonstrate complete ownership of the project from kickoff to handoff.Execute manual ad hoc scenarios as well as integration testing.Consistently perform to high standards of accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.Self-accountable and accept consequences of actions, demonstrating unquestionable integrity in daily duties.Skills / Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.Must have 2+ years of experience in game testing with a slot game manufacturer.Must have experience testing different types of Class III slot games.Experience in understanding game functionality and platform functionality.Experience with gaming machine communication protocols (e.g., SAS).Good knowledge of GLI regulatory requirements.Hands-on with CI environments such as Bamboo or Jenkins.Experience or good knowledge of Linux OS, Unity, and XML.Good knowledge of OO programming languages (e.g., C#, C++).Hands-on experience with testing methodologies and iterative development.Hands-on experience in documenting test plans & test cases in Test Rail, Zephyr Jira, or Zephyr Scale.Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking abilities.Experience in using bug or issue reporting tools and version control software.A good team player with a passion to help team members and work collaboratively.Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders and an eye for detail.Note: Slot game testing experience will be considered.
Please note that this position requires your presence in our office in North Ryde, NSW Australia as the work cannot be done remotely.
