This position reports to
Hub Division Manager, PAEN, Asia
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a local business.
Each day, you will assume responsibility for end-to-end business activities including operations, portfolio, and commercial.
You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring profitable business growth in these areas and lead a high-performing team by developing and implementing strategy.
The work model for the role is: #Hybrid.
This role contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries for Australia, responsible for the energy sector, including but not limited to Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Power, and Water.
You will be mainly accountable for: Ensuring profitable business growth by implementing the operating unit's business strategy, with full responsibility for Profit and Loss, performance targets, and improvement actions.
Driving sales in integrated automation, electrical systems, service, and digital solutions, while implementing new marketing processes and tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensuring profitable business growth in Australia by maximizing geographic coverage and channel penetration, as well as focusing on industry segments in the domestic market.
Optimizing business on a regional scale, taking advantage of the Group's local and global resources.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Implementing HSE and business compliance standards, living ABB values, and supporting the Global Business Unit in their responsibilities.
Organizing, staffing, and directing the area of responsibility with HR Manager support, while guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Qualifications for the role
12-15 years of management experience leading multifunctional teams.
Master's or Bachelor's degree.
Proven history of developing local talent and significant industry experience, especially in Gas & Oil and Power Generation.
P&L and sales experience with a strategic, customer-oriented mindset.
Strong technical background for developing client-specific solutions.
Strategic leadership, entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and senior executive presence.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with relevant work rights.
