Position Summary :
We're currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client's growing finance team.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for monthly accounting and financial reporting across our business lines, ensuring compliance with accounting principles; general accounting operational functions on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis; regular compliance functions, including adherence to state and local registrations and tax codes; and providing strategic financial guidance and analysis to senior management.

Work from Home Monday to Friday | 9 PM to 6 AM Manila Time Following US Holidays Responsibilities :
Report information that helps company leaders make better decisions.
As part of the monthly / quarterly / annual close processes, prepare journal entries, analyze accounts, and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
Responsible for the full cycle Accounts Payable function including processing and coding invoice and credit card transactions.
Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
Assist with providing responses to information requests relating to the audit, tax returns, and other ad hoc projects.
Lead and/or contribute to various accounting and reporting operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and the accuracy of data used to generate financial statements.
Provide information and analysis supporting our FP&A team in our company forecasting and budgeting to support strategic decision-making.
Improve processes and operations.
Work with the Finance team on special projects to continue to improve workflows and build best-in-class processes.
Help to improve and build out accounting policies.
Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Financial reporting responsibilities mainly revolve around expenses—journal entries / reconciliations of bank accounts, prepaid expenses, intangible assets, fixed assets, and other accounts as assigned.
Meet processing and reporting deadlines.
Assist in financial audits.
Analyze current accounting policies and procedures and recommend changes for improvement.
Respond to information requests, research, interpret data, and answer accounting and financial questions.
Assist with the management of various compliance needs.
Ad-hoc requests and other duties or functions may be assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar.
At least two years of accounting experience.
A demonstrable knowledge of the Accounts Payable function.
US GAAP experience is essential.
Experience with general ledger functions, posting journal entries, and the month-end / year-end close process.
Significant experience with Excel, Google tools, and experience with similar major accounting systems, preferably Sage Intacct, Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or Quickbooks.
