The Company
With over 50 years of excellence in air conditioning, mechanical services, construction and maintenance in Australia, this leading Tier 1 HVAC Company has a broad range of project experience across commercial, multi-residential and institutional projects of varying size and complexity.
The Role Project draftingWork within a drafting teamConfidence in decision makingProduce detailed shop drawings within project time constraintsValue manage projects where possible (reduce duct sizes, shorten duct runs, etc.
)Produce schedules (grilles, dampers, etc.
)Attend project coordination meetings as requiredLiaise with Suppliers & Sub-Contractor where required to produce shop drawingsLiaise with site forepersons as requiredNotify project managers of variations to project documentsCoordinate other services where requiredAbility to produce good quality detailed shop drawingsAble to Coordinate subcontractor's servicesPlay a key role in contractor/subcontractor coordination meetingsEnsure client satisfactionMaintain peer-to-peer relationships with co-workersGood communication and relationship with the Site Foreman & all department headsDelivery of projects on timeThe Requirements Self-motivation and commitment to continued Company improvementAble to resolve conflicts at professional & personal levelResolve &/or follow up issues arising from Project problemsAbility to communicate at all levels, with personnel both within and external to the companySound knowledge of Revit MEP & NavisworksPositive outlookEnthusiastic & confidentPrevious experience as a Mechanical Services detailed draftsperson & coordinatorAbility to coordinate with other tradesWhy CSA Recruitment
