JOB DESCRIPTIONWood is seeking expressions of interest from a Contract Coordinator with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is anticipated to be a permanent role to support one of our key clients in the region with a start date in the 1st quarter of 2025.Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Southeast Asia.RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to the Contract Manager, you will be the focal point for the contract and responsible for the implementation of the contract deliverables for our clients' assets. You will also be responsible for all logistics, planning, operations and maintenance resourcing, development activities, HSSE, and quality control requirements.In addition, your responsibilities will be to:Manage and coordinate multidiscipline activities to ensure contract requirements are executed in a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and timely mannerIdentify and actively manage or resolve business risk or contract deliverable risksEnsure that adequate Contract Management and Project Controls are in place to optimize contract deliveryProvide management leadership and guidance to the team. Ensure current and future targets of the contract are met through active development of resourcesContinuously seek and review internal and external client feedback on contract performance to ensure client and organization targets and standards are maintainedManage and develop team members with continuous review of individual and group performancesEnsure company Policies are maintained whilst operating within different country's statutory and government regulationsActively contribute to a positive safety, quality, and continuous improvement cultureQUALIFICATIONSYou will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply.You must also be based in Darwin / willing to relocate to Darwin.Ideally, you will have proven experience in a similar Contracts Coordinator role, with 10 years of maintenance experience, including 5 years in a supervisory maintenance role on a permanently staffed producing facility. In addition, you will have:Extensive track record of successful operational and strategic delivery within the Oil & Gas sectorAn ability to interpret technical drawings, documents, and management reportsKnowledge of maintenance management systems preferredExcellent analytical, literacy, and numerical skillsExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to provide 'hands-on' support as requiredWhat will set you apart is your proven experience as a leader of people with several years of supervisory experience, capable of engendering an entrepreneurial spirit of cooperation and energizing diverse teams to adopt best practice, driving optimal performance with safety at the heart of everything we do.ABOUT USWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
