Neuroscience focused Medical Affairs role, Sydney-based Medical role, Agile and flexible work environment.

As a Medical Enabler (Medical Manager), you will aim to jointly cultivate an environment that enables a self-managed team, with strong innovative, agile and enterprise mindset, customer centricity and a culture of discovery, experimentation and learning.
You will:
Provide strategic input and operational support from late stage development / near launch through growth to end of lifecycle of therapies in the Disease Area (DA).
Seek out opportunities to apply your scientific experiences, skills and capabilities towards valuable work in service of patients.
Act as a scientific expert of our medicines and diagnostic solutions throughout their product life cycles.
Work in cross border collaborations and will be a member of the Network capabilities.
What will you be working on:
Provide comprehensive expertise of Medical Affairs theories, techniques and technologies and foster scientific collaborations and value-based partnerships with therapeutic area experts and other healthcare stakeholders.
Understand important data gaps, design and support data generation plans to address them including phase IV studies, registries etc.
Contribute Medical Affairs expertise to patient support and / or compassionate use programs across the Disease Area portfolio as appropriate.
Build high value-added continuing medical educational programs in the Disease Area for external stakeholders.
Advise on strategic planning and prioritization of opportunities, taking into account patients' need, resource requirements and market access considerations.
Build and contribute the medical affairs capabilities to cross functional, cross cultural, self-managed teams that apply agile methodologies.
Translate insights into strategic and actionable recommendations for varied stakeholder groups to impact the way we work and ensure we help deliver positive, sustainable change in healthcare.
Provide strategic medical review and approval for materials and communications.
Who you are:
A qualified Medical Affairs professional with a degree in Life Sciences / biology / immunology / neuroscience or equivalent.
Having an MD / PhD degree is a plus.
Comprehensive knowledge of the drug development process and Australian medical landscape.
Strong relevant experience within the Medical Affairs fields as Medical Adviser or Medical Manager.
Deep understanding of the Neuroscience therapeutic landscape and well-established relationships with Australian Neurology KOLs would be advantageous.
Expertise in data comprehension, critical appraisal, synthesis interpretation and delivery of data / information skills.
Entrepreneurial and growth mindset with ability to identify opportunities, experiment, take risks and disrupt the status quo.
Full eligibility to live and work in Australia is required for this Sydney-based role as visa and / or relocation support is not available for this role.
