Personal Care Worker - Tumut & Surrounding AreasWe currently have positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Workers to join our team in Tumut & surrounding areas.
You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect.
You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
Responsibilities will include: Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each clientAssisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic dutiesAssisting clients with daily errands, companionship and supportProviding support with academic, social or recreational activitiesPreparing food, feeding clients and administering medicationsObserve, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the clientResponding to emergency situationsShifts may change with changing client needs: Day / Night shifts24/7 availability (preferred but not essential)Employee mentoring programQualificationsCriteria: Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges #J-18808-Ljbffr
