HammondCare provides care primarily through hospitals, residential care homes and home-based care as well as services for dementia support, community palliative care, rehabilitation, positive aging and older persons' mental health.
About the role The Business Intelligence Analyst is a critical role within the IT function.
The role is to ensure HammondCare gets the best value from its investment in business systems by data collection, analysis, visualisation and quality assurance.
This is a 6 month role with the possibility of extension.
The role is based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities available.

NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefit (up to $2,650 tax free)Flexible working options, including hybrid arrangementsDiscounts on everyday products and servicesDiscounted healthcare memberships - access to network of fitness centres and pools for employees and familiesFree access to independent counselling support for employees and familiesReward & Recognition programmesCareer and professional development opportunitiesKey Responsibilities include Gathering data from various sources, including databases, external data sources, and analysing it to identify trends and insightsUtilising data visualisation tools (PowerBI) to present data in a visually appealing and understandable manner, helping stakeholders to make informed decisionsEnsuring the accuracy and integrity of data by implementing data quality checks and validation processesEngaging with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translating them into technical specification for data analysisCreating and maintaining reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholderStaying updated with industry trends and best practices in BI and analytics and recommending improvements to existing processes and toolsProviding training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports, ensuring they can effectively utilize the data available to themAbout You Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Mission, Motivation and Mission in ActionBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fieldAt least 3 years demonstrated experience as an end-to-end Power BI Dataset Modelling, plus experience using premium features such as Pipeline DevelopmentPower BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query essentialUnderstanding of data warehouse conceptsExperience with SSIS or similar ETL tools desirableExceptional stakeholder engagement at a senior level with the ability to build rapport with a diverse group of peopleExcellent written and oral communication skills with strong presentation skillsApproachable, empathetic with strong relationship building skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insightsTo Apply If you are ready to make a difference with HammondCare, Apply Now
