As part of a multidisciplinary team you will deliver high level nutrition and dietetic services to patients at The Park – Centre for Mental Health.This is a temporary part-time position until 30 June 2025 (30.4 hours per fortnight).The purpose of this role is to deliver high-level evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services to patients with severe mental illness at The Park – Centre for Mental Health.This position operates within a Professional Skill-Sharing and Delegation (PSSD) model of care by providing and participating in supervision, training, monitoring and evaluation of the use of skill-shared and delegated clinical tasks and by delivering an expanded scope of clinical practice.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:High level knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of clinical nutrition and dietetic services to patients with mental illness and ability to provide dietetic services of a complex nature across the spectrum of mental illness.Ability to participate effectively in a multidisciplinary team and liaise effectively with other senior staff regarding nutrition and dietetic service delivery and improvement opportunities.Ability to initiate, implement and evaluate nutrition and dietetic/food service quality improvement activities.Ability to provide professional development activities in the area of mental illness and clinical supervision to students and support staff.Mandatory Requirements:The successful applicant must possess a degree or graduate diploma (or equivalent) in Nutrition & Dietetics and hold the Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) credential.West Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the south east corner, with a community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
