)• Access to discounted gym membership through Fitness Passport• Option to join our workplace giving program, Give4Good• A great work life balance with options to purchase additional leave• Receive a staff discount on hospital admissions to any SVHA Private Hospital• Support in your professional development and a reward and recognition program.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the unit, including staffing, scheduling and budgeting.Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures.Promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families and healthcare providers.Providing leadership, mentorship and support to nursing staff.Conduct Performance Appraisal.SELECTION CRITERIA:QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of NursingAuthority to practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRAESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum 5 years clinical experience in specialty.Post graduate qualification in clinical nursing or management or working towards.A commitment to the Philosophy, Mission, Values and Ethics and Code of Conduct of St Vincent's Health Australia.Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care.Commitment to continued professional development.Ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge in the specific area of practice with a commitment to professional development and clinical teaching.Ability to clinically manage one's self and others, to create a transformational leadership environment.ABOUT MATER HOSPITAL:The Mater Hospital is regarded as one of Sydney's premier private hospitals, located in North Sydney, with expertise in a range of areas including Maternity, Orthopaedics, Cardiology and Cancer care.
