Our client is one of Australia's major commercial law firms.
Due to growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to recruit an experienced insolvency & commercial litigation lawyer with at least 3 years post admission experience.

The firm has a blue chip client base of local and international clients, ASX-list companies, household brand clients, ultra high net worth individuals, government agencies, big 4 banks and other financial institutions.

The Role The role will see you working on commercial disputes, insolvency related disputes, securities enforcements, banking litigation, regulatory & financial disputes.

You will be running your own matters, having client responsibility, mentoring more junior members of the team.
On big ticket, multi-party litigation you will be working as part of a team.

On a day to day basis, you will have client contact, go to court, brief counsel, take part in client development activities.

About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have at least 3 years pae in the area of commercial litigation Have strong technical skills Have commercial nous Have strong communication and interpersonal skills Have the ability to work in a committed and high performing team Have excellent organisation skills and manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Be enthusiastic, willing to learn and takes pride in their work.
