a Senior Psychologist
to join their team.
This role provides senior Psychology services within the Browns Plains Child and Youth Mental Health Intake and Clinical Services, delivering evidence-based care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
It supports optimal patient care through service development, quality improvement, clinical education, and contributes to quality and research initiatives.
The position also involves supervising and training less experienced clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants.We are the major public healthcare provider for Brisbane's south side, Logan, Redlands and the Scenic Rim, operating five major hospitals and a range of community, specialty and state-wide healthcare services.

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace for our people and our community.Join us at Metro South Health and be part of a world-class, dynamic, and growing health service that embraces technology, excellence in health care, teaching, research, and empowering our people to be the best in serving our community.About the RoleManage an allocated workload to deliver Psychology services, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies, and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards.Liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with clients and their carers, other health professionals, students, and external agencies to achieve a client-centred approach, utilising negotiation and conflict resolution skills as required.Continually develop clinical practice knowledge, skills, and expertise through self-directed learning, active learning within a team environment, and engaging in professional development activities.Develop clinical psychology practice knowledge and expertise by engaging in, initiating, and facilitating professional development activities within the multidisciplinary team and Psychology specific networks.Provide leadership and support around clinical services including Intake.Our values of
