Are you a skilled and experienced speech-language pathologist passionate about neurodiversity-affirming practice? Gameplan, renowned leader in neuro-affirming speech, language, social-emotional and learning therapy in Brunswick East, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support and mentor a dedicated small team of early career SLPs to drive meaningful, life changing support for our neurodiverse, largely NDIS, clientele. About the Role As a supervisor Speech Pathologist, you will: Join a Leadership Team: Assist us in growth and development of the business as you engage in regular supervisor meetings to shape the direction of our therapy practice.Support and Lead a Small Team of Speech Therapists: Provide mentorship and guidance within a supportive, structured and affirming framework.Oversee Group and Individual Therapy Programs: Oversee and implement innovative group and one-on-one sessions that maximise each client's potential.Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Design personalised, evidence-based therapy plans that respect and affirm neurodiverse identities.Direct Client Assessments and Progress: Conduct and review thorough assessments, establish meaningful goals, and monitor client progress with a strengths-based approach.Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with our close network of OT's, Psychs, Teachers, Medical Professionals and others to provide holistic, coordinated care.Engage in Ongoing Professional Development: Stay informed on the latest in neurodiversity-affirming practices and evidence-based therapies to implement with clients and develop staff knowledge.What sets Gameplan apart: Flexible Work Arrangements: Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with options for home and office flexibility.Balanced Supervision and Caseload Schedule: Strict workload caps and abundant planning time prevents burnout and upholds therapy quality.Generous PD Opportunities: Access a minimum of 5 days of paid professional development annually, with a dedicated personal PD budget to apply gold-standard training to enhance your, and your team's, skills.Dedicated Support Staff: Let our experienced admin team and allied health assistants handle logistics, so you can focus on therapy, incorporating the latest in practice management technology and resources.Weekly Supervision and Mentorship: Receive ongoing support, fostering your growth and expertise in weekly meetings with your Director and other members of the Senior Team.Vibrant Team Culture: Join regular team meetings, professional development, and social activities to foster connection and collaboration.Central, Convenient and Safe Location: Work in a purpose-built, architect-designed office in Brunswick East, surrounded by great coffee, food, shopping and ice-creamTailored Career Pathways: Develop your skills with a mapped-out career progression plan.Supportive, Inclusive Work Culture: Collaborate with a team that values and celebrates diversity, integrity, and the unique strengths of each team member. We're looking for the following: Education: Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent, with SPA certification.Experience: 4 years in clinical practice, ideally with supervision/mentoring experience. But if you believe you have what it takes to step into a mentoring role and are ready to take your career to the next level, then get in touchSkills: Proficiency in neurodiversity-affirming and evidence-based practices, group/individual therapy and ideally, have at least 1 years supervision experience.
