Our services encompass extra high voltage transmission grids, power distribution networks, and consumer-end electric supply facilities.
We also offer customized, integrated solutions for protection system design, automation, control, and communication, tailored to our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop methodologies, deliverables, and resource schedules for underground cable projects.
Prepare and check feasibility studies, outline and detailed design technical reports, and other written documents.
Design and check detailed construction design drawings.
Produce design concepts, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
Maintain regular contact with utility clients.
Lead and coach graduate and junior engineers, fostering their professional development.
Assist the Manager APAC – Transmission Lines, Mining and Cables in managing resources effectively.
Current ratings in accordance with Australian Standards.
Forced ventilation design for cable tunnels.
Impressed voltage calculations.
Emergency, cyclic, and short-term overload ratings.
Cable crossing ratings.
Production of bonding diagrams.
Cable pulling and laying design.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power or High Voltage (HV).
CPENG accreditation or on the pathway to obtaining it.
Proficient in using the PLS-CADD, CYMCAP and other relevant software.
Strong background in transmission and distribution projects.
Ability to operate in a culturally diverse team without close supervision.
Key Relationships
Collaborate with Team Leaders, Technical Project Managers, and CAD designers.
Report directly to the Manager APAC – Transmission Lines, Mining and Cables.
Directly mentor and guide Electrical Engineers.
