Our proven delivery means we have an exceptional pipeline.As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team.What will a day in this role look like:Providing structural design works supporting Transmission lines tenders and projects.
The design work involves design of support structures and foundations.Fulfil the role of Designer and Checker within the discipline sectionsPlan and conduct professional engineering worksAttend site, supplier or customer premises to ascertain or confirm project requirementsCarry out detailed engineering calculationsDevelop detailed designs in sketch and drawing formatDevelop technical specification documents and reportsLiaise with third party geotechnical engineers or other specialist service providersWhat are we looking for you to bring to the team:A relevant four-year engineering degree acceptable for membership to Engineers Australia.At least 10 years post-graduate experience preferably within the Transmission Line Industry (desirable)Computer and MS Office proficiencyStrong understanding of principles of geotechnical engineering and foundation design.Proficiency in PLS CADD, PLS Tower and PLS Pole.
