We have a new opportunity available, and we hope you can help us.
Project: It provisioning project based in Sydney CBD (will need to come into the office fulltime)
Timeline: Initial 6 months contract with likelihood of further extensions
Your capabilities: Technical abilitiesWindows 10 support via phone, email and remote assistance toolsMicrosoft Office 2007, 2013 and Office 365Experience with Microsoft Active DirectoryMobility device support: iPhones and iPadsRemote Support Tools such as RDP and Remote AssistanceSupport of video conferencing technologiesExperience with a ticketing tool such as Remedy, Helix or ServiceNowWrite and execute PowerShell scripts to automate tasks, improve system efficiency, and troubleshoot issues.Desired experienceUniversity degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experienceExperience with PowerShell scripting for automating repetitive tasks and enhancing support efficiency.Experience providing formal phone support in a Help Desk, Service Desk or Call Centre environment Your role will include:Onboarding new starters in office and remotelyHardware support (building and configuring laptops, process disposals, raise Dell repair calls).Customer facing, technical support, focussed on Workplace technologies listed above.Log incidents and requests for continued problem resolution and trackingMaintain direct contact with users throughout the lifecycle of an incident or requestCall out to user and otherwise follow up with them directly for more complex issuesCollaborate with domestic and international technology teams in order to drive issue resolution on behalf of customersContribute to technology projects as required.
