Your role:
As a Quantitative Developer, you will be closely working with traders, quant analysts, and trading strategy developers to:
Develop, maintain and deploy analytical tools (Python) that will directly influence trading strategies.
Source, cleanse, develop and maintain data pipelines as required by the trading teams.
Process large and varied data sets.
Performance-tune existing applications and processes, improve existing codebases and data flows to allow for efficient processing of large data sets.
What we're looking for
Experience with the Python data science stack: NumPy, Pandas, etc.
Experience with numeric data storage methodologies, e.g., hdf5.
Experience of working in a Linux environment.
Strong knowledge in computer networking, e.g., UDP, multicasting.
Ability to understand financial models and mathematical algorithms.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with traders, quantitative analysts, and other software developers.
Experience or interest in areas such as capital markets, probability, game theory, and the application of IT solutions to these areas is a plus.
