Role Purpose
We are now seeking a Dewatering Technician with at least 4 years' experience.
The purpose of this role is to ensure reliable, efficient, and sustainable operations through the installation and maintenance of dewatering infrastructure.
We have a mixture of trailer mounted suction, multi-stage bore & centrifugal pumps on site.
This position would suit a self-starter who enjoys autonomy and problem solving.
The role will be offered on an 8/6 roster from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie.
Accountabilities:
Troubleshoot pump and piping solutions on site and perform routine maintenance.
Construct, monitor and maintain de-watering equipment (wells, pipelines, meters and pressure gauges) and perform pump curve calculation.
Install bore pump systems and bypasses and removal of pumps.
Set up in-pit sump pumps.
Make repairs to water pipelines (polyweld if required).
Fuel and service pumping equipment.
To be successful you will need:
Demonstrated commitment to safety.
Poly welding ticket.
Telehandler, IT loader, CN and LF tickets.
Current Australian driver's license - preferable HR Licence.
Flexible and versatile attitude.
Ability to work autonomously in remote locations.
Must hold working rights in Australia.
