GEMS teams manage ENGIE's highly diversified energy portfolio and provide a range of trading risk management solutions to all types of market participants in Europe, Asia Pacific and in the Americas.You will be joining the finance team of GEMS ANZ in a role reporting to the CFO GEMS ANZ. GEMS is a growing business unit establishing strong commercial relationships in the Australian energy market and part of a global business unit.Our Finance Business Partner - C&I position is primarily responsible for partnering with the C&I business.Act as the Finance Business Partner and advisor to the C&I department within GEMS ANZSupport C&I in achieving its financial objectives by providing the analysis, insight and challenge into its decisionsWith a strong focus on future performance, provide financial forecasts and budgets on behalf of the GBUSome of your responsibilities will include:Leading the development of partnering relationship with the C & I management team and with stakeholders throughout GEMSTurning data into actionable insights and delivery of high quality advice to support business performance in line with projected growth, forecast and financial metricsAnnual budgeting and forecasting lead, as well as medium term plansValidate PL and Risks of the assets booksLead monthly forecasting process, results review and any corrective action plans to KPI'sTogether with the accounting team, accountability for month end, data integrity and complianceAbout you:Excellent stakeholder management skillsCA or CPA qualifiedMultiple years experience in a similar role with energy industry (C & I) knowledge advantageousStrong problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent influencing skills and ability to translate and present financials for diverse audiencesExperience in a matrixed organisation which involves complex stakeholder managementKnowledge of IFRS and AASBDemonstrated knowledge of budget and planning processesNext Steps:If this sounds like the role for you, we welcome your application.All applicants must have unlimited rights to work in Australia.Please note we consider applications on an ongoing basis and therefore encourage you to apply at your earliest opportunity.ENGIE is an equal opportunity employer, promoting diversity and committed to creating an inclusive environment for all.
