Through the provision of energy-efficient products and solutions, we have successfully contributed to the reduction of energy consumption in over thousands of residential and commercial properties.
Currently, we are in search of an experienced and VBA licensed Plumber to join our dedicated team.
About The Role
As a Licensed Plumber , you will play a vital role in helping customers transition to more energy-efficient solutions.
This involves installing multi-split system air conditioners under the Victorian Government's energy-saving initiatives , particularly focused on transitioning homes from gas ducted heating to electric heating and cooling systems .
You will work closely with homeowners to deliver high-quality installations and provide guidance on how these energy-efficient solutions can help reduce utility costs and environmental impact.
Your expertise will ensure seamless installation and compliance with government standards, ultimately contributing to Victoria's push for greener, more sustainable homes.
Primary Responsibilities :
Installation of multi-split system air-conditioning units and other HVAC systems, adhering to relevant safety and industry standards.
Perform various plumbing services, including gas fitting, roofing, and sanitary work, in compliance with Australian plumbing codes.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and air-conditioning issues in residential and commercial settings.
Apply skills in decommissioning existing plug-in heater systems, ensuring a smooth transition to the new AC installation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all installations.
Qualifications:
The candidate must hold a current licence in at least one of the following classes:
Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Services :
Mechanical Services – Restricted to single head split systems Refrigerated Air-Conditioning Basic Systems Intermediate Systems Plumbing Specialisations (any of the following licenses):
Restricted to caravans, recreational vehicles, and mobile homes Restricted to disconnect/reconnect Restricted to Type A appliances Irrigation (non-agricultural) Roofing (Stormwater) Restricted to Class 10A buildings Sanitary Plumbing Water Supply Restricted to domestic hot water services If you have the above skills and are looking for an exciting and rewarding career, we look forward to hearing from you
