The Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Nursing and Midwifery Staffing Unit is looking for several Undergraduate Student in Nursing to join our team on a casual basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in various clinical practice areas.
Our unit is supported by an Educator and Clinical Facilitators.
As an Undergraduate Student in Nursing, you will:
Assist and support the Nurse Unit Manager and clinical team in providing quality patient care.
Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to plan workload and prioritise activities, fostering a culture aligned with the Magnet Recognition Program principles.
About You:
An undergraduate student of nursing or midwifery, and Undertaking or has completed, on a full-time basis, the second semester of the second year of a pre-registration university program or is undertaking the fourth semester of a second-year post-graduate pre-registration university program in a nursing or midwifery qualification approved by the NMBA.

Blue card / Working with children check (GCH will cover cost).
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B.
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).
Talent Pool:
If deemed suitable, you will be added to the Nursing and Midwifery Staffing Unit Talent Pool for the Undergraduate Student in Nursing (Fundamental Care Assistant) role.
