Company DescriptionEstablished in 2012, Pinnacle Drinks exclusively partners with winemakers, growers, brewers, and distillers to deliver some of the world's leading brands across the wine, beer, and spirits categories.We are proud to be part of the Endeavour Group, Australia's leading retail drinks and hospitality business united around the common purpose of creating a more sociable future together.Job DescriptionBring your passion and feel the energyJoin our Pinnacle Drinks commercial team and drive Own Brand growth across Beer, Cider, Spirits & RTDs.As the Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for the growth, development, and management of the Pinnacle Portfolio for Endeavour Group across Beer, Cider, Spirits, and RTDs.You'll drive sales, gross profit, and penetration of the Pinnacle Own brand portfolio within our Retail brands; Dan Murphys and BWS, alongside other channels like Shorty's, Marketplace, and external partners.Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:Drive the team across your categories to engage with Domestic and International suppliers / producers / co-packers to develop the Own Brand and Partner brands portfolio.Improve and optimise the commercial viability of the range using your understanding of the different aspects of manufacturing.Portfolio building / sourcing / developing of the own brand portfolio.Own the New Product Development pipeline, driving identification of new product opportunities.Upgrade the existing portfolio while engaging with supply partners and working end to end with a variety of internal stakeholders.Identify and engage with domestic and international brand owners to obtain long-term exclusivity for Endeavour Group.Maintain best-in-class relationships with the exclusive brand owners and work with our marketing teams to execute plans that improve brand performances.Ensure that Pinnacle has the best-in-class, best-in-cost, best-in-supply short-, mid-, and long-term strategy for its own brands portfolio development.Ensure alignment on project deliveries and timelines with the Project management team, as well as EDG QA compliance, as per the priorities decided by the Own Brand & manufacturing manager.QualificationsNow let's talk about you:Degree qualified in Business or similar.5+ years Retail or FMCG buying experience.Intermediate MS Office experience.Knowledge of merchandising, sourcing, and manufacturing principles.Strong Business Acumen, numerical and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills (written / verbal).Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships.Ability to work independently and within a customer team.Excellent negotiation skills.Knowledgeable in Global and Domestic sourcing procedures and manufacturing of beer and wine.Great understanding of Domestic and International supply chain.Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.A customer-centric attitude and a passion for the liquor industry.The benefits are good tooWe offer flexible working in every sense.An exclusive discount card for BWS, Dan Murphy's, Woolworths, BIG W, and other Endeavour Group brands, including our ALH pubs.Monthly meeting-free days.Your health and wellbeing is your most important asset, and as one of our valued team members, it's our first priority.You will have a range of free services to help you live well and support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.Endeavour Group is full of opportunities - use our dedicated learning and development options to grow an idea, yourself, and your career.This is just the start, so dream big.At Endeavour, we value being a workplace where everyone's welcome - if you meet a number of the requirements (and not all), we encourage you to apply.We are together creatorsWith a portfolio that includes Dan Murphy's, BWS, ALH Hotels, Pinnacle Drinks, and more, Endeavour Group is big on sociability.Together we create the moments that bring millions of people together.
