They are committed to fostering a healthy, inclusive, and high-performance culture while ensuring that they deliver the products their customers need safely, sustainably, and with the highest level of integrity.What is on offer Permanent RoleGood team culture and environment8:6 rosterThe RoleAs a Health and Safety Supervisor you will be responsible for the following duties related to mineral sand operations:Roles and Responsibilities:Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement.Perform safety audits and evaluations, implementing corrective actions as needed.Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans, including emergency response strategies.Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on health and safety matters.Track and analyze safety performance metrics, providing regular updates to management.Identify potential hazards related to mineral sands operations and develop effective mitigation strategies.Lead training sessions and safety briefings to enhance employee awareness and engagement.Key CriteriaA Successful Operational Health and Safety Supervisor will have the following criteria:Strong understanding of health and safety management systems and risk assessment methodologies, particularly in the mining or mineral sands sector.Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field.Proven experience in a health and safety supervisory role within mineral sands or similar operations.Strong leadership skills and the ability to promote a positive safety culture.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective training and reporting.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to safety management.For more information and a confidential discussion please call Emma Walker on or click Apply now.#J-18808-Ljbffr
