The Role:
Data Management and Strategy Develop and execute a data strategy aligned with business goals.
Oversee data collection, storage, and governance to ensure accuracy, security, and accessibility.
Implement best practices for data quality, lineage, and metadata management.
Collaborate with Technology and Data Engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure for scalability.
Analytics & Insights Conduct data analysis to provide actionable insights that support business decisions.
Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
Perform advanced analysis (statistical, predictive modeling, trend identification) and present findings to senior leadership.
Promote data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Product Ownership of the Data Platform Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform as its Product Owner.
Drive data maturity through self-service tools and improved data literacy.
Collaborate with Technology, Engineering, and Operations to ensure the platform meets organisational needs.
Oversee platform development, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Ensure compliance with data governance standards and continuously enhance platform capabilities.
Manage the platform feature backlog and integrate AI/ML solutions to solve business challenges and enhance customer value.
You: Previous experience in data & analytics roles within the Tech industry.
Data Management & Platforms: Strong knowledge of data management, warehousing, ETL processes and data governance - including quality and security best practices.
Product Ownership: Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, ideally within data platforms or analytics tools.
Data Analysis & BI Tools: Proficiency in data analysis (SQL, Python, R) and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), with a track record of delivering actionable insights.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills across all levels.
Project Management: Strong project management abilities to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
Technical Proficiency: Python, SQL, Terraform, Git, AWS About JobAdder:
