About the role

We are looking for an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter/Site Supervisor to join the team at Prestige Habitats pty ltd in Redfern NSW.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on our construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing Supervising trades and organizing day-to-day project tasks and scheduling the projects.Overseeing the efficient use of materials and equipment on site.Identifying and resolving any issues or risks that may arise during the construction process.Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain open communication and manage expectations.Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.Understanding Australian Standards and Work Health Safety requirements.Monitoring and reporting on project progress to the management team.What we're looking for Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for a hands-on leader passionate about craftsmanship and team collaboration.
Your background will include:
Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally within high-end residential or architecturally designed builds.Strong leadership and mentoring skills to inspire and guide a small on-site team.Confidence in managing subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries.Proficiency in reading and executing construction plans and schedules.Tender trade-specific packages and present quotes for approval.Ownership of all necessary powered and hand tools to perform carpentry tasks.About us
