Part time, fixed term contract for 1 year Be a part of the Dr Alan Stocks Kellion Victory Medal Research Program' (KVMRP) Base Salary starting from $ 95,860 + 17% superannuation  About the opportunity We are seeking a Clinical Trial Research Support Officer ( HEO 6)  to cover a number of roles across our growing academic research organisation.
The Clinical Trial Research Support Officer will support the Clinical Trial Operations Lead and trials team an assist with the study of long-term survivors who live well with diabetes is a good news story, to better understand and research systematically.
The aim of this study is to develop a research program with database, comprising those Kellion Victory Medallists who are willing to provide consent to be included in the research database.
The 'Dr Alan Stocks Kellion Victory Medal Research Program' (KVMRP) - Kellion Victory Medal to those who have lived with type 1 or type 2 diabetes for 50 years or more.
It recognises the achievement of living a fulfilling life with diabetes.
These medallists have lived a long time with diabetes, and they may well have factors that protect them from diabetes complications, which, if identified, could help many people with diabetes.
The Clinical Trial Research Support is a research focus role, supporting the research program in Greg Brown Diabetes and Endocrinology Research Lab.
The role will maintain study ethics and governance) both USYD and LHDs), study participants recruitment, maintain participants database, and clinical data collection and analysis.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Perform general and trial-related administrative duties to support the Clinical Trial Operations team, including prepare clinical trial documents, maintain participants records, data entry, update and collate materials, respond to queries, and explore and source solutions for research team, managers and central services, as required work under the direction of Clinical Trials Operations Leads and liaise with clinical trial operations team members and various internal and external stakeholders provide other support tasks associated with clinical trials and other research projects uphold the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) in all clinical trials, ensuring that ethical and scientific quality standards are met in design, conduct, recording, and reporting take the lead in handling stakeholder communications, ensuring that concerns are addressed effectively and timely while fostering a culture of trust and collaboration within the work area and beyond facilitate timely report submission, uphold data integrity according to university systems, and partner with managers to advance compliance initiatives.
About you Bachelor's degree or combination of equivalent experience and/or education/training in Clinical Trials  demonstrated experience in basic clinical trials administration or experience in a similar field knowledge of clinical trials administration processes  basic understanding of GCP guidelines and protocol requirements for clinical trials excellent communication skills, well developed interpersonal skills and organisation skills well-developed computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office suite, managing and filing electronic documentation and creation of spreadsheets excellent attention to detail ability to work as part of diverse teams in a shared working environment.
