We are currently looking for a Mechanical Trade to join our Brewing shift production team at Tooheys on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
Please note, you will be on a weekly rotating shift pattern between Day & Afternoon (Day shift is 6 am to 2 pm, Afternoon Shift is 2 pm to 10 pm).
You will play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing reliability of our assets in the brewing department at Tooheys and will support the delivery of production rates by minimising waste events related to machine efficiency on site.
Some of the things you'll be doing in the role: Scheduled preventative and corrective maintenanceReliability projects and problem-solving to optimise production and minimise downtimeDevelop specialist technical skills in equipment and use those for troubleshooting and improvements with the production teamChampion a safety-first culture across the BrewerySome of the skills you will bring to the role: A mechanical trade qualification or equivalentStrong hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance in manufacturing or FMCGExperience in liquid processing equipment such as valves, pumps and centrifuges will be highly regardedStrong understanding of reliability engineering principles, maintenance practices, problem solving and failure analysis techniquesExperience using a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) such as SAP EAMDecision making in ambiguous situationsStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong motivation to succeed and deliver quality resultsWhat You Get In Return: Long-term growth and career development opportunities within LionTraining provided in our Lion processes, assets, lean methodologies and TPMCollaborative working environment and be part of a high-performing teamEmpowerment and ownership of your role end to endAnd of course, employee product allowance - enjoy some free beer on usHere at Tooheys and Lion, we choose to be a leader in driving inclusion, diversity, and gender parity in all teams in all areas of the business.
