We are looking for Trainers, Facilitators, Coaches, and Mentors to join our Team to deliver meaningful and purposeful employability skills training across the Canberra, ACT Employment Region.

About the role: Our Employability Skills Training and Career Transition Assistance programs provide essential job finding skills to Australian Job seekers.
As an Employability Skills Trainer & Facilitator, you will be delivering a targeted course designed to help a diverse range of individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds.
Supported by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, the programs are key drivers in the Federal Government's initiative to assist Australians whether they are looking to enter or re-enter the workforce or are looking at transitioning into a new career.
Your role as a Trainer & Facilitator is to ensure that our Participants are building on their employability skills and gaining the motivation and career guidance necessary to secure employment.
About you: You are a passionate and dedicated classroom Trainer and Facilitator with experience as a Teacher, Trainer, Coach, or Mentor who enjoys supporting people to discover and develop a future career path.
We are looking for Team Members who: Have a passion for assisting others with their career goalsHave a passion for teaching, training, or facilitatingHave a strength-based approachAre positive, motivational, with a can-do attitudeHave exceptional communication skills, both oral and written with a strong attention to detailAble to demonstrate an ability to train and educate groups of adult learnersKey Responsibilities: Facilitate the delivery of training to small groups of adult learners using the provided course structure and materials in line with the requirements of the relevant contractual requirementsContextualize and tailor training to best suit the Participant's learning needsEffectively use technology in the workplace and coordinate administrative requirements to assist the delivery of trainingDeliver training and assessment in a diverse range of environments including classroom, workplace, and onlineProvide students with individual attention, support, and guidance to maximize every learner's chance of successful completion as requiredAdhere to company policies, procedures, and processesLiaise and work with Head OfficeAssess Participant competency levels and compile feedback reports for ParticipantsSelection Criteria: Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate clearly and engage well with a diverse range of individuals and groupsExperience delivering training, whether it be as a teacher, coach, or mentorHave a Working with Children's Check and National Police Check clearance (essential)TAE40116 is desirable but not essentialFlexible and willing to travel and undertake training blocks on short noticeAbility to deliver training, Face to Face, Online, and Hybrid training (face to face and online simultaneously)Intermediate technology skillsUnderstanding of the local labour marketDepending on the role and region, the position will be on either a casual or permanent basis.
Successful applicants will be a part of our Talent Pool, must be available to commit to Training Blocks that run on a 3 consecutive week schedule, and be willing to travel to different sites.
