The Opportunity: We're on the lookout for an experienced Optimizely Developer to join our Sydney team. You'll be responsible for integrating HTML templates, developing .NET components in Optimizely & services for bespoke and CMS driven web applications. You'll be an expert in implementing content management, application functionality and integration requirements while working within an agile development process.
Working closely with the delivery team and applying industry best practices, you will ensure that all code developed is well architected, clean, consistent, and accurate ensuring that implementation meets in the definition of done.
2-3 years of specific experience in developing Optimizely Content Management Solutions or other .Net CMS (Sitecore, Umbraco, Kentico)5+ years design and development of building public facing commercial .NET applicationsStructured and secure REST APIs based on WebAPIAzure SQL and MS SQL ServerEntity Framework and IoC such as Autofac or StructureMapSolid understanding of web standards and technologies (HTTP)Mentoring fellow developersA champion of good coding standards and design principlesHighly Desirable Skills Optimizely CMS Developer certification is highly desiredDevelopment of CMS-driven web applications based on Optimizely/EPiServer, Umbraco, SiteCore or KenticoExperience with Atlassian suite including JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket and BambooDigital marketing agency experienceExperience of e-commerce application developmentWhat you can bring Solid knowledge of industry best practices and experience on SDLC, software design patterns, Gitflow, peer-review, development methodologies such as Agile / Scrum and iterative-waterfall, coding / accessibility standards, effective documentation and producing maintainable codeExcellent experience and skills in architecting enterprise level applications, using SOLID principles, separation of concerns and domain driven design.Solid experience in continuous Integration and automated deployment, using build scripts, preferable using Bamboo.Great communication and leadership skills, strong team player with a friendly and professional attitudeSolid experience designing a wide range of solutions and leading a team of developers during implementationBuild relationship and provide expert guidance to clients, understanding their needs, providing solutions, and translating these requirements into actionable development tasks.Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, ideally with a digital agencyShow a strong commitment to the Company's core values of Collaboration, Integrity & Curiosity.Embrace and respect the Company's community and environmental responsibilitiesApply for this job
