Position: Loader Operator for Mobile Plant
Site: Nyora
Reports to: Assistant Quarry Manager
Position Brief: Provide loader driver duties for Mobile Plant as directed by Assistant Quarry Manager, Quarry Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities: Loading surge bin at WashplantSales loading road trucks using Loadrite Scale System / stockpiling materialEnsuring equipment is maintained to a high standard inside and outMaintain a safe workplace with a strong OH&S focusConduct pre-start on loader dailyScreening sand with Mobile ScreenMonitor plantOperate Excavator as requiredProvide assistance to Washplant / Maintenance team when wash plant is down for maintenanceCommunicate effectively (verbal, listening, and written); self-motivated, team player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of othersReport all hazards detected to immediate supervisorAttend all Pre-Starts and Safety Toolboxes as requiredEnsure work areas are maintained in a clean and orderly stateParticipate in safety inspections/audits as requiredRecommend changes, which could reduce cost, increase productivity and improve product qualityAll other duties as directed by the Quarry ManagerTickets and Licenses Required: Front End LoaderExcavator PreferredDump Truck PreferredKey Performance Indicators: Always present "fit for work" with zero drug and/or alcohol readings in your systemAttend morning pre-start daily prior to commencing workShow initiative when plant is down by providing assistance in other work areasMaintain punctual attendanceFlexible with shift times (5 am starts) and occasional weekend workHealth & Safety Obligations: Abide by all safety directionsPromote a positive HSEQ culture in the workplaceDo not interfere or tamper with any PPE, signage, or other safety toolsIdentify and report all hazards to supervision/managementComply with drug and alcohol testing whilst onsiteEnsure that all visitors, employees, contractors etc.
