About this role
Seeking an NV1 security cleared Commercial Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
This role will see you take on a variety of commercial and contract related tasks as well as support to project teams for a Maritime program.
This role offers uncapped training and development opportunities as well as other benefits including subsidised parking, flexible working and different leave arrangements including paid parental, study, reserve and volunteer leave.
Key responsibilities Develop relevant procurement and commercial documentation and contract administrationDevelop action plans and schedules to support contract management outcomesImplement contract change proposals and other contract management documentationMentor and develop junior staff within the commercial teamLiaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisationsData management and analysisProvide advice and assistance related to commercial matters Skills and experience needed Experience within the Defence industryStrong communication skillsExperience working on project commercial and contractsProcess orientated with good attention to detailMinimum NV1 security clearance and be able to upgrade if required What sort of skills do I need? Tertiary qualification, certification, vendor course or relevant industry experienceDemonstrated experience in strong technical writing skillsAbility to be fully responsible for meeting allocated technical and/or project/supervisory objectivesAbility to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiencesDefence industry experienceHigh level attention to detailAustralian citizenship and NV1 security clearance as a minimum What's in it for me?
