A unique WHS consulting opportunity exists within our Health and Safety Consulting practice in Sydney.
The Safety Consultant role reports to the Managing H&S Consultant and is part of a team of specialist consultants who deliver WHS services, including:
Risk assessmentsIncident investigationsWorkplace inspectionsProviding advice and support to clients on all matters relating to WHSThe role works closely with the team to provide health and safety advice and assist with the development and implementation of WHS IT Solutions for clients.

Supporting the team to implement WHS IT systems for our clientsParticipating in client meetings and being responsible for collating and documenting client needsManaging client requests and problem-solving to deliver client-first outcomesTranslating safety workflows into digital safety solutionsProviding WHS advice, including compliance and legislative updatesDeveloping and reviewing WHS management systems and/or documentsUndertaking WHS site and system audits and other WHS support services as requiredDelivering high-quality written and verbal reports/advice with technical accuracy and timeliness for clientsMaintaining strong day-to-day relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersFollowing, promoting, and facilitating project management processes and procedures on all projects in accordance with Marsh operational requirementsSupporting the allocated Project Manager in executing assigned tasks or deliverables in a timely mannerWhat you need to have:Tertiary degree in Work Health and Safety, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)1-2 years + experience in WHS advisory or a related role is desirableSound working knowledge of WHS and Safety legislationSound understanding of risk management principles and the ability to apply these principles in managing WHS hazardsWHS auditingUnderstanding of ISO 45001What makes you stand out:Experience in implementing WHS IT systems (desirable)Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (desirable)Exemplar Global WHS auditor accreditation (desirable)Applications can be considered from candidates who have the appropriate approval to work in Australia.
