Production Operator

Over the past 33 years, our company has established itself as a trusted partner to some of Australia's most iconic resorts, hotels, and restaurants.Family-owned and operated, CLS boasts four laundry plants, additional satellite locations, a dedicated team of near 300 staff and more than 800 customers that rely on our service to operate.Job Opportunity: Production OperatorAs a Production Operator you will be processing linen through different production lines including high speed automated ironers, towel folders and sorting machines.You will be operating machinery whilst "feeding" and "catching" linen within a team. Efficiency, quality control and accuracy are critical whilst working in this role.Working Hours & Availability*MUST* be available 5 days a week for EITHER AM or PM (on a rotating roster) and Saturdays during busy periods especially around the school holidays and public holidays.Hours can vary dependant on workload and seasonal production requirements.Conversion to permanent available upon request after a trial period, dependant on performance.RequirementsSuccessful applicants must meet the below criteria:Physically fit - able to do work at a fast pace, light to medium lifting, repetitive movements and standing for long periods.Comfortable working in a hot environment.Some Saturdays will be required during busy periods.Dependable and committed.Able to work positively within a team environment at a productive pace.Reliable transport.Available Mon-Fri for morning or afternoon shift + Saturdays.Pay ratesAdult Casual & Penalty Rates (includes loading)Before 6am pay rate - $41.60 p/hNormal Hourly pay rate- $29.71 p/hOvertime rate (after 7.6 hrs) - 41.60 p/hAfter 6pm pay rate - $41.60 p/hSaturdays(first 3 hours) - $41.60 p/hSaturdays(after 3 hours) and Sundays - $53.48 p/hPublic Holidays - $65.37Further breakdown of rates outlined under: MA000096Junior rates apply for 19 years and underFuture CareersAs a rapidly growing company, CLS provides career prospects through promotion.
