The Housing Hub was created as an initiative of the Summer Foundation and now operates under a social enterprise model.Thousands of properties across Australia are currently listed on the Housing Hub website, making it easier for housing seekers to find the right home.
We've created an online community where housing seekers and housing providers work together to develop a market where people with disability enjoy choice and control over where they live and who they live with.
We need someone who is willing to provide input, ideas and expertise to continue to grow and drive this website to provide even more value to our clients.Job Description:This role is responsible for all aspects of the back-end development along with implementing DevOps procedures and management of deployments and hosting, ensuring our website continues to evolve and remain number one for accessible housing in Australia.Key Responsibilities:Back-end development and testing of all new website featuresMaintain accurate documentation of system architecture and associated systems.
Update with changes and website extensionsImplement new/modify existing APIs between the website app and our CRM SalesforceReview and debug code and assist the support team with customer-facing enquiriesConfigure Stripe as e-commerce requirements change or new products are introducedIntegrate new website features into existing platforms including Salesforce, Algolia, and SegmentAll back-end deployments including set-up and maintenance of development pipelinesAWS configuration, containerisation, and ongoing server maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and scalabilityMust haves:At least three years of experience in back-end developmentExperience with React and NodeJSExperience building and managing APIsExperience with API integration into databases - preferably Salesforce but other transferable experience is OKExperience configuring and managing e-commerce platforms and integrationsExperience in back-end deployments, including set-up and maintenance of development pipelinesAWS configuration, containerisation, and maintenance experienceUnderstand security controlsNice to have:Understanding of accessibility approachesExperience with Algolia, Segment, Contentful, or other Headless Content Management System (CMS)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.Benefits of working with us:Not-for-profit PBI salary packaging, including meals and entertainment card17.5% leave loadingEmployee assistance programPurchased leave availableEngaging social events throughout the yearA friendly and passionate team dedicated to making a differenceHow to apply:If you're ready to join our team and make a positive impact, click the Apply button below.
