Hyatt Centric Melbourne is Australia's first Centric hotel, situated in the bustling Melbourne CBD. Offering the perfect location to discover Melbourne's hidden treasures, local attractions, and vibrant music scene.
Featuring 277 luxurious rooms, as well as an indoor pool and gym, the Hyatt Centric Melbourne is a hotel that truly encapsulates the essence of the city. Langlands Restaurant & Bar serves delicious local cuisine and offers stunning 180-degree views of the city from the hotel's top floor.
As the Host, you will be working in a Front of House team, supporting the Restaurant Manager by being the most engaging host who can control the floor from the door. You will be responsible for making sure guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. Create a warm and welcoming environment for patrons from the moment they enter the hotel's Level 25 Langlands Restaurant.
Some of the responsibilities include:Control the room from the door and support our floor team maintaining a smooth workflowUtilise your food and beverage knowledge and service to heighten the guest's overall experienceSeat and greet playfully whilst enchanting the guests with your local knowledgeOpening and closing of the space, inclusive of opening + closing TILS and reconciliationUpdate table plans and allocate bookings promptlyCompile to Occupation Health and Food Safety procedures and standardsQualificationsAbout you:
A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificateExperience using a POS platform, specifically Infrasys POSEnthusiastic and engaging attitudeStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage your timeSophisticated and clear communication skillsThe flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysCulture Statement:We Are Team Centric
