The Child Wellbeing Centre is a leading paediatric service based in Bayswater and Midland, dedicated to the support and wellbeing of children, adolescents and their families.
Our dynamic and multidisciplinary team includes psychologists, speech pathologists, and occupational therapists, all working together to provide comprehensive and integrated care for our young clients.
Exciting changes are coming as the Child Wellbeing Centre transitions to new ownership, bringing fresh opportunities for growth and innovation.
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team.
In this role, you will provide clinical support and supervision to a team of speech pathologists, ensuring high-quality service delivery and professional development.
You will hold a small caseload and work closely with other allied health professionals to support the multi-disciplinary care of our clients and their families.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of speech pathologists.Conduct Speech and Language assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for children and adolescents.Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions for a diverse paediatric client base.Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to provide integrated care.Mentor and support speech pathologists, fostering their professional growth.Work alongside the Principal Psychologist and Senior Occupational Therapist to oversee service delivery.Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting.About youAustralian accredited tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.A preferred minimum of 5 years of experience in paediatric speech pathology, with experience in providing mentorship to others.Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech therapy.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.A Working with Children Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check.What We Offer:A supportive and collaborative work environment.A professional development allowance as well as in-house multidisciplinary training opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
